Big Sky

So tomorrow I'm heading up to Big Sky with a group of friends and I was wondering if any of you knew how much a combined lift ticket is for both Big Sky and Moonlight Basin??

Ya i've looked, but I must be an idiot i couldn't find it...

Also i need to buy a bag while i'm there maybe someone could help??

Personally, I'd just buy a ticket to one and save some money, you really can't ski both mountains in one day. But if you have the money to burn and only one day, then go for it.

they call it the lone peak pass, and for a day for a "junior" (11-17) its 69 bucks. 89 for adults. as aenigma said, its not really worth it for one day. its not really possible to ski all that terrain in one day.

I think that the only reason that it would really be worth it is if you want to ski some of the chutes on the moonlight side that are only really accessible from the tram or the big sky chutes that are only assessable from moonlight. But when we were there over xmas we ended up just skiing moonlight because its only like $40 with a student id and some of the hikeable chutes just from moonlight are just amazing... I'd really like to try big sky after a big dump but moonlight is so cheap its just hard to pay that much more.

^true if ur skiing the n. summit snowfields u need a peak pass just if ur going to do that shit but otherwise its to huge to ski in one day

President's day=packed. That's about all I have to say about that.

As far as the summit snow field goes, I wouldn't buy a ticket just to ski that. Yeah, it's an amazing run, but it's only open sporadically and for a few hours a day. You're setting yourself up for disappointment unless you can get a hold of patrol that morning to see if it's going to be open.

Haha, well regardless if it's packed, my dad has a business conference there and fuck me if i'm not going to take a chance to miss two days of school to go to Montana and ski.

I think that I'm gonna be back out in Bozeman over the first week of March and was just wondering how the snow is there that late in the season?

i dont know if someone already answered, but i know its 75 for a big sky ticket...i dont know i'll look on the computer at work
