I don't know about anyone else, but as the temperatures rise and the snow levels fall, I will be up at big sky, riding the soft park. Every spring, the park at big sky is rocking, pretty much the only time every year that it is acctually soft and has a lot of features at the same time. Hope to see you guys up there.

I agree that Big Sky only seems to get the flow right at about this time of year, too bad Bridger's park is the shittiest this side of the The Mississippi.

I heard saturday was awesome up at Big Sky, I decided not to go. Bridger was still pretty fun though, the snow was really, really soft. Somebody built a pretty fun step-up out of hully gully near the top, and the whale is finally set up right.

how are the conditions snow wise at Big Sky right now? im goin up this weekend and im wondering if i should bring my rock skis or not???

You probably won't need your rock skis. Right now they're sitting on about 120-130" on the upper mountain, with a chance of another 3 feet falling by thursday afternoon. If there is ever a time that you don't need rock skis at Big Sky, the time is now.

Lone peak has claimed so much gear, after skiing this "record" year and still exploding a pair of Nordi Beasts by side to rock contact on Lone tree lift.
