Big Sky sold?

So no major changes? I would kinda like to see some, it would be kinda interesting. But thanks for all the info!

yea i kinda doubt there will be any major changes. to the masses of people that ski there, big sky is doing great. these gapers are uneducated, but they're who the resort focuses on making happy

changes would have been interesting but i cant complain with how big sky is now. it makes me happy.

haha sry guys

nothing to be done to the park

boyne still owns the resort they just "strengthned" their relationship

in other words cnl will prolly buy it out in about two years...thats the news i got

go to their website there is a legit article on it

just google cnl big sky haha

Yeah ambush is way to steep for any type of park, and the snowmaking sucks. We work with what we got until maybe sometime in the future snowmaking improves somewhere else and the park moves. Last year was a step in the right direction and this year should be even better.

big skys park is weak but i ride it so little i dont really care. although it would be sick if big sky could put together an epic park.

One quick suggestion:
Have that jump at the bottom built for more of the season instead of a quarter pipe. I don't think many people like quarter pipes.

Some people complain to much, which is legit I guess... But the mini park makes me happy! The swifty park is always legit times ten! I can have almost as much fun in there as I can in the big park, minus the whole jump thing.

i remember in the 06-07 season they had a super fun jump at the bottom of the pipe, that location was sweet. they should make a 2 jump line right there

I really enjoy Big Sky's park but then again I ski at Showodown all winter. It seems like the stuff you guys build is usually in pretty decent shape and you build fun stuff but it seems like you could do so much more with the given area. Not trying to hate on park crew, Im sure this is a funding issue. And yes that is a pretty damn steep run for a park.

Ok, I don't mean to bash on Big Sky or anything, but when the season pass costs 800 dollars just for a student, I think it's reasonable to expect a decent park. Jumps are one thing, I understand the problems with slope and snowmaking and all that. However, why haven't there been any noticible improvments in the rail/box selection for the past couple of years? If Big Sky could just set up some sick jibs like moonlight does, their park would actually be legit.

word the swifty park is always super fun. idk if it really qualifies as mini at this point though hahaha.

its pretty long/has alot of features for a mini park lol. i suppose were talking size of the features not the whole park though
