The snow's been shitty for a few days so I've been shack tourin. Just wonderin what are some of your favorites??

But it is snowing now!!
 
dr's is key. carpet ("chronicles of gnarnia") is always a good time. i went to drive through for the first time in years recently. i havent managed to find any new shacks yet this year. i always hear there is one by bear lair.
 
where is that? or does it have another name? i used to have a shack map that shane-o gave me last season... but my rommate stole it when he moved back to the midwest at the end of the season. fucker...
 
^As have I. However, one time it was so crowded my buddy and I had to blaze outside by that gondola car. Mid-hit I look up and see a procession of a family about 8 deep including little kids skiing by, and all of them are giving me a death stare. I was too taken aback to do anything so I just kind of slowly exhaled and stared back. Needless to say, awkward.
 
anyone know of any moonlight shacks? ive heard there is one by iron horse.anyone ever try to build a shack? ive worked on one a little bit the last 2 summers but havent got very far with it. no one ever wants to help. i really want to put a sweet one in the woods between rice bowl and buffalo jump, though. there are some tucked away pockets back in the woods there
 
Some friends just showed that one to me today. It's pretty crazy, someone put a lot of work into it for sure.
 
Jack shack over off of Liberty, Necro, Ewok Hut, and of corse Scruff..MN REPIN. I remember the irst year after we built the scruff shack we had a bbq out there in the spring it was so sick
 
yeah its one of the sickest shacks..not many people know about it. Its Jack Giliieon i believe died in an avalancje back there. Its kinda like a cave, you have to slide in like a seal..haha
 
haha i cant really tell you..wish i could but its one of those "take 3 turns to the right then let at the tree" things...and all the trees are the same around there
 
haha, fair enough. generally, though, is it in the trees at the bottom of liberty, kind of on the right on top of that ridge?
 
Not sure what its called... chronopolis? teepee? hobbit hole?? Its the one in tango trees. anyways props to whoever remodeled! Its sooo sick.
 
what is the shack right off of the hungry horse trees? i was skiing by myself last weekend and stumbbled upon this sweet shack. it had like rock stairs with tree branches over it and opened up into 3 padded benches
 
haha that's a funny coincidence, a friend just showed me that one today. It is pretty cool for sure.
 
A guy named Cody Lundmark made a movie a couple years back about all 54 or whatever. Anyone know where to find it?
 
only a decade late on this one, but Im hitting big sky this weekend. Can anyone please give me some help on a map of all/most of thesmoke sahcks? Last time i went in 2016 my freind found a map with all the marked locations but it was recently deleted. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
