im going to school in bozeman montana next year and will be skiing at big sky. i want to know how the mountain is, and how the park is.

anyone ski there and know some info????

when they have a bunch of snow, its the best place to ski. the park isnt that good, but the big mountain shit is ill. but when there isn't any snow, its the worst place to be.

wow, haters. i SHOULD say that it sucks and to never come here, but I will not be an ass-cock, instead I will tell you the truth: This is my third year going to school here and riding big sky, and it is very satisfying. The park is fun, right now they have the illest jump they've ever had, and the pipe is dooooooope. Indeed, when the snow sucks, it sucks, but isn't that the case anywhere?????? these bitches don't know shit, it is what you make it, and for going to school AND skiing as much as possible, Bozeman is the hot shit. word. check out some of my pics or go to

lots of big sky photos....

on a side note, maybe you should have stayed for more than one "semister," because you obviously need more schooling....

collins co is just so much better. but im givin you guys madd props, you guys kill it up there

dude my friends bro checked into the school and its pretty ghetto. And Big Sky isn't all tht great but i can ski there for free because my mountain also owns Big Sky.

collins and the whole monkey crew deff make the best of what they have, that one "up" box sesh at bridger was one of the best days of my season so far.

today was my first time skiing in montana. Big Sky is real fun, i dunno how you kids are complaining...the place is huge.

the last jump in the park is sooo money

wait..... you can ski???

big sky is really really fun, theres anythin gyou could ever ask for, you mihgt have to search for it, but youll find it. and there is hardly ever lines, and if there is ther elike 5to 10 minutes. i dont think ive ever waited longer then that. the park can be good, the park crew didnt suck so much nuts.

All you have to do is hit the tram on a pow day and your life will be complete. They have really sick terrain up there (although it's lacking in technical difficulty) and a lot of places fill in really nicely with the wind. On the flip side, the wind also does a lot of scouring and as a result there are huge rock fields all over the place. Definitely a good place to do big exposed lines, but if you want to hit cliffs, ski techincal lines, or ride really deep powder you'll have to go to Bridger.

we did today. we were in line and the top was perfectly clear and by the time we got on the tram there was a cloud over the top so it wasn't that great

big sky=blowsky i hate that place. i lived in montana for 18 years and rode there off and on. everytime i went. it sucked balls there park is decent but now that it's the "biggest resort in USA" its gonna turn into the most crowded place u can think of and with the rich uppity fucks from Spanish peaks/ Yellowstone club like to keep shit real spendy. Season passes are like 650 for a student i got 2 different resort passes in UTAH where i moved to. for 50 dollars more. and i think park city definitely kills Big Sky's Park. and brighton kills there park too

dont move to montana unless u wanna say you are gonna ski alot then just get DUI cuz you arent going to school i know that bozeman is the biggest party school.

no you are MSU is ghetto. maybe if you compare it to another montana school look outside shithole montana. yeah you cant hate on me cuz im from that place. MSU=GHETTO.

no its not... there might be parts of msu that appear ghetto, but im sure its the same way with alot of other colleges.

and big sky is a great place, yes there are rich people, and yes the passes are really fucking expencive, but its the same way in utah, but i guess the passes are cheaper.

utah is cheaper. move here man you dont wanna mess around with montana its like city then 2 hours till you get to something else worth checking utah thers 7 resorts all about 30 min. plust you got surrounding areas thats like and hour max to get to.

Yea its been a tough snow year, parks are improving with any new snow we get. Upper ambush should have some new jumps and rails lines by next weekend if all goes smoothly. Some new stuff will come out of the shop soon to. Skiers were killing it off the bottom jump all weekend

i heard word of collin collins cork 7 full of dopness.

im really disapointed with big sky's park this year. its complete shit there is nothing in it. and they didnt change anything for a long time. i would except better from bigg-ish resort.

Uhhh, no. They're on the same mountain, but they're different areas, different aspects, etc. Moonlight's going to have a bunch of new lifts in the next 2-3 years too so their terrain is going to be amazing. But hey, I'm not trying to convince you to come back, you don't seem like the type of person anybody wants around here anyway.

haha.... its SOOO true collin collins couldnt hit a jump if his life depended on it.

sarcastic for all the retards

no worries bro im just saying that there was more mountains. but yeah moonlight is dope i was there that place is fun. but there lift broke the 6 pack. also did they ever get around to haveing just a jib park like i herd they were going to?

Six Shooter's been having problems with mice chewing through the wires this year. It's kind of sad that one of the biggest lifts I've ever seen is so easily taken down by a mouse.

They have a bunch of rails and boxes set up right now, maybe 20 or so. We're supposed to get a few tables, but I doubt that's going to happen with the snow situation right now.

umm, between moonlight's dope ass jib shit and big sky's shweeet pipe and decent jumps, not to mention the AMAZING tram shit, i don't see how anyone could talk shit on this place, but hey, stay the fuck away, cuz i hate lift lines and gapers anyways. and ya, Utah is no doubt the illest skiing in America, but you wanna talk about a ghetto ass school? that school fuckin blows donkey balls. I'm gettin full credits at MSU right now to make a ski magazine. how's that haters?
