Big question concerning alcohol

how long does it take for you to be sober again. im trying to go to a party but i have to drive home i cant crash there....
 
thats a good question... i would say youre good to drive as soon as you can walk a straight line and youre not dizzy and your vision is good... like if you can catch a football maybe, but definately not when you are still dizzy or cant walk very well.
 
hahahaha theres no set thing, you have to figure that out for yourself. if you are gunna drive then dont do it until YOU know that YOU are sobre its not a big question i'm sorry to say but its common sense BRAH!
 
and on top of that if you havent drank enough to know when you are sobre or not then dont drive its that simple.
 
Yeah it depends a lot on body weight, metabolism, and how much you have had to eat just to name a few.
 
thanks. im just not gonna drink cus its not worth a couple beers to lose a license and not ever leave my house again. my parents are real strict about that.
 
it just take practice start out driving not to drunk and work ur way up. In no time you will be able to drive compleatly wasted.
 
its just the whole thing that if you do get in an accident under the influence your pretty much fucked. but my buddy who is 140 pounds can drink like 3 beers and still drive normally.. but thats 3 beers over a period of like 5 hours
 
my mom was killed by a drunk driver. the kid was only like 19 and he kept on saying i only had 3 beers only 3 beers. the dousche bag killed me mom. he was on the wrong side of the road. only 3 beers only 3 beers. my mom was a nurse she helped diliver babies only 3 beers only 3 beers. the kid was doing 75 in a 55. only 3 beers only 3 beers. think tiwce before drinking and driving.
 
ummmmmmmmmmmmm, or dont do any of it. not saying be a pussy-but just keep it away from your driving. im one for parties. but nmothing ends one faster thna a car crash
 
Kinda off topic but I know a guy that was drinking one night. Got up the next morning, drove home at 4pm and got pulled over for speeding. Cops smelt alcohol on him and beathalized him and he got charged with DUI. Fucking Bull Shit.
 
dude dont risk, even if u tyhink ure ok ur reaction time might still be slow, or when ure drunk u might be so impaired that u think ure ok but youre not, and even if u can drive well and a cop gets you ull get busted, especially if ure underaged, i wouldnt even mess around with it if i were you
 
i just got home. for anyone who cares here ya go.

everyone was getting wasted but i stayed sober and am really proud. the girl whose house it was at who is quite attractive let me smoke her weed and anything i want. double win cus she is really hot and she smokes. so i smoked but didnt drink. i got home fine and im really proud. thanks ns for the advice
 
Its also a cool challenge seeing how many years you can end up in jail for when you get in a accident or hit a ped and kill somebody.
 
yes I was joking but i have never had that problem. I have a roomate with a fucked up liver who is my permanent dd. I suggust u find sombody like this it makes it much easier.
 
good to hear you made it alright but yeah... drinking + driving is not the way to go i let one of my best friends drive home drunk last week and it nearly killed him. instead of going straight home he started driving up this mountain pass, drove right off the bank luckily he was able to dive out and escaped with barely a scratch but he totaled his car, everything inside burnt, it's getting crushed in a few days. you cant belive what it fells like to hear that kind of thing and know that you could have made a diference but didnt.
 
if it was the next morning then y was it 4 pm. or was it actully in the afternoon. Just because u went to sleep doesent mean ur not still drunk. Your driving skills are going to be extremly impaired if you got compleatly wasted and slept for a few hours.
 


In future, just keep a beer in your hand at all times, stops people pressuring you. That way there's never any pressure.
 
nah man my friends are assholes about that shit. i told them i couldnt drink and they felt bad obviously but they know its not smart so nothing was said about it.
 
1 beer takes an hour to go through your system, and a shot takes about 2 and a half hours to go through the body, so look at it like that. This is true because I learned this all in a damn alcohol class I had to take for a drinking ticket.
 
hmmmm, is it that important to drink? there will be more parties to go to, don't risk your life for a couple of drinks
 
designated drivers! why has only one person mentioned this, i was one last night and brought 9 people home, i kept the roads safe and may have saved the lives of my friends if they had crashed and died.
