Big problem help

I just got final cut express and i have a Panasonic sd9 it shoots avchd. Final cut say it support the format but i can't upload it on to it. I search on google and it say theres so weird things with the way it shoot but it works if u shoot in 24p. If anyone has had experence with this or know how to fix that be sick.thanks-Kalum

Idono about express, but you have to have version 6.0.4 of FCP in order to upload AVCHD. Once you have it go to log and transfer and then copy over the clips you like.

yeah thats what i got it just crashes my omputer i'll fidle around though

it says so on it website are there any other decent editng program anyone knows that would be better?
