That is really awesome for Nordica! TJ is a sick guy to have on the team.
 
Congrats to TJ!

Nordica is starting to really stack their team, damn. They used to have big money in their freestyle program then kind of backed off for a while, now they seem to be getting more involved again. Great to see more companies doing this finally.
 
It seems weird that TJ has walked from 2 companies that gave him pro models (Orage and CoreUPT). Money is one thing, brand/team loyalty is another, I guess.

And that make 3 ski sponsors in what, 4/5 seasons?
 
Stoked for TJ to be back with a sponsor which will respect him and truly support him during the next season !

pro models dont allow you to live off skiing and be able to travel all around the world. you gotta do what you gotta do.. more power to ya tj
 
well Candide walked away from two companies (3 if you count rossignol) that gave him a pro model Dynastar and Salomon. What does that say about loyalty?
 
Who says its solely the money anyways? TJ may just be looking for the company that best meshes with him and his needs, theres a lot of other things to consider past money in a sponsorship deal.
 
he was damn near a legacy on Armada...

coreupt seems they have a ton of internal business issues (saw this coming with gus jumping ship) and probably forced Tj to make a chance

can't really dog him in any way unless he bails on nordica this season or whatever
 
I'm simply playing The Devil's Advocate. Maybe he is jumping from a sinking ship, maybe he loves Nordica skis, I don't know. I think the dynamics of the ski industry are intriguing though.
 
i got sponsored by Nordica over the summer and their stuff is dope sauce, defiantly keep an eye out for the ace of spades
 
Maybe he didn't like the product or like the other products better? We'll never really know why people change sponsors, there are so many factors, money is just one.
 
I'll be honest. I was never really stoked on CoreUpt from the beginning... I was a little skeptical about a lot of the brand when they just dumped a ton of money into their team and just initially recycled Dynastar molds. Their skis might be great now who knows but I just always had my doubts. I guess that's all being confirmed since they dropped TJ and Gus in the last few months. Who knows who'll be next
 
Hopefully Nordica pays for some lavish trips to exotic destinations and we get some sweet ski content out of it.
 
Ehh idk, I had a friend that had some super bad topsheet issues with his superchargers. The ones with like the weird solid blue topsheet and the blue/red stars on the bottom
 
you don't know what you talking about

loyalty is one thing but these guys have to live.

go explain charles gagnier that it was nice that he stayed loyal for salomon for 10 years and now he has no ski sponsor, go tell JF houle that when he had skied for rossignol for 3 years they just dumped him like crap two years ago.

go tell that to julien reignier also..

i mean come on if he saw that his opportunities were not that good with coreupt (they are not selling a lot of skis right now), he made a move to make sure that he would have a sponsor that would offer him what he needs/ deserve.

be stoked for him, since this is probably a good move for him.

 
I see the durability of the topsheet as a durability issue...

Although a small one, if the topsheets suck and aren't durable, it can be an issue.
