I heard the "Lunker" is supposed to open this weekend. Hopefully it is sicker than its name.

w00000t opening on Saturday, March 4th. I think ill head up there saturday instead of my usual friday run.
 
Yeah kiddies. I will be up on Sat afternoon and maybe sunday after noon filming someplace in there, cause my knee is still screwy. If you want me to film, let me know. Ill be in a tan jacket and red pants or something.
 
yeah, the pipe was actually really sick today, it was cut nice and smooth, i have to give props to the park crew
 
I was the kid doing the xgames snowplow down the middle all afternoon. The pipe looked pretty rough, but I can't ski it yet so I can't say for sure.

Andrew Johnson when 7 ft out and then landed with his legs on the deck and body in the pipe. Fucking gnarly. Then he got up and took another run.
 
Yo david, I'm going up sunday. I don't know if you check this in the mornings or not, but we should chill. I might try riding it a bit if i feel good. It's my first day back from bleeding. Haha. Shit! of all saturdays and sundays to wake up puking why this weekend, oh well guess ill just have to wait to ride it till friday night or saturday,
 
They should have 22ft, or cut it straight like this. The grooming seems to be going to shit already. Ideally, they should cut the pipe twice a week, and when it snows more than 3 inches at the base.
 
that would be cool, but it would be more difficult to learn in, and since almost no one at big mountain has ridden pipe before, it wouldn't make much sense, 18 is still pretty big and really fun
 
Yesterday the left wall melted some late in the day. It was soooo sick. Lets hope they fix the bump on the right dropin, because then I could go bigger.
 
that doesn't even really matter, drop in a little further, or just get over it, it didn't really affect my amplitude, it was just a little annoying,

When they get around to it. The grooming schedule means nothing, because so far, they've fucked it up every time they groom it.
 
haha, yeah, it seemed to me like the right wall had a little shelf in it last weekend, but i liked the left one, hopefully they get the hang of it soon, it could be worse
 
the thing that i like the least about our new pipe is the access, it's fine on saturdays and sundays when the T-bar is open, but at night it isn't really convenient, i call poor planning on big mountains part, it looks like they could've moved it down 100 ft, but maybe there is some regulation i'm not aware of or something
 
Damn the pipe sucked tonight. Figure in kinked, holey walls, assorted rocks, plus three to four inches of super wet and slow snow, and you get
