Alright;im having my first big mountain competition in kimberly at the end of this month and im planning to compete in two more. does anyone know what you get judged on or if anyone one has any pointers for me. that would be great

pick a line that is creative.

Keep it safe, you want to do more than one right?

ask the people who have been around... be curious, you know?

watch and learn, and then go rip it.

If you have to be first... throw everything i said out the window, and go do a whole line switch.

need to balance big drops with speed and fluidity.

if you wana impress, throw a 3 off a cliff.

above all, be smooth and confident.

ok. so i have the basic idea of what im being judged on. i can 3 of drops but i just dont have much style...i can probally just throw some mute grabs and such

all the comps i've been in have been judged by the technicality of the line and the creativity (tricks).

i wonder if anyone has actually done a big mountain comp switch. but yeah go big and fluid dont speed check a million times before cliffs, well try not to with out killing youself. props to you man good luck

they judge on control, aggression, the line you pick ( thats like the most important) technique how fluent/smooth you are. well thats how they did it at red.

alright now that i know what to do

does anybody the fuzzy and flush area in kimberly? thats where it is going to be held

ski fast, take chances.

nah, do something you feel comftorable with but charge the hell out of it and be in control the whole time i asume would get you a good placement.
