Big Mountain VS Small Mountain

I've skied and lived @ Hemlock Valley BC a small ski resort with 3 chair lifts and two rope tows and now I'm living in Whistler and it's sweet but there is somthing about a small mountain that is just so much sweeter...sure the riding is better but as far as lifestyle goes i think i would choose the smaller mountain...the people are funnier...there is way more drinking...and powder days last all day cause it doesn't get tracked out in 5 in....anyone else agree with me?

they both have their good sides... but id say medium and big... cause real small kind of sucks with limited terrain and all. i love crystal and all the bc and stuff but whislter is gonna kick some ass too.

Every time I go to a big mountain it seems kinda impersonal. I recognize everyone that works where I ski and everyone recognizes me. The skiing may suck but the atmosphere is totally different.

I'm sure once you haveskieed at any resort enough you get that kind of connection. Obviously you arent gonna make it in a day. It takes time, but you can bet if you live in whistler you know everyone.
