Big mountain ski questions

hey im noticing that my K2 pe suck hard at pow skiing and i was thinking about getting some big mountain skiis I would only be using them like a week a year and i want something that will last me a while I weigh 180 lbs and im 6'4"

Pretty well any ski you will get will last for a long timr if only used for a week a year. takr your time, demo to find what works best for you.

that is a total complete waste of money.

demo fatties whenever you head out west or to whatever big mountain pow mecca you pilgrimage to for that one week a year.

it doesnt always make sense. sometimes, demoing a fat ski can cost you 40-50 dollars a day, which quickly adds up. if you are anticipating using them for a few years it should pay for itself. that said, i would demo before you buy something unless is not possible. there are a lot of deals out right now at the end of the season so you should be able to find some fats for cheap.

This is what you want. At your size the 183's will be fine unless you're skiing 50mph off of 40 footers every day. They may be somewhat short, but they're a lot of ski.

they are a long 183cm too...more like 186cm. no twin either.

pretty sure the running length is longer than both 190 gots and ANTs

he said he is 180 pounds, not lookin for 180 cm. but yes to that regardless.

Line bacon is sick, i need to demo them myself

uhh 185 scratch bc's. end of story. seriously.i weight 178 and im 6'1", so ur a little taller but the ski is amazing everywhere, buy it, live it, love it. or some 189 seth vicious might be the icing on the cake for you.

Try the High Society FR 187's

they are big and love the big mountain terrain and the POW POW

136/104/126

nice and fat

If you can find them, Ninthward THA 187, they're a pretty versatile ski, and at 109 waist, you'll float. I heard this years Ninthward First Blood 190s have been super-sized, to be even wider than the THAs, so those would treat you well too.

If you're anti-ninthward, I'd recommend the K2 Seth, which just rips everywhere. I dunno about the Hellbents, since I haven't ridden them, but they look solid too.

go somewhere at the high 80's or even 90 get a stiff ski. Buy some at seal from this year, you will do a long time with it. I 'm 5.9 and i still ride my scratch bc after some years amazing ski and aint that much money anymore...
