Big mountain resorts

i live in the aspen area in the winters however i wanted to take a trip for a few weeks in march to something a bit more rowdy than highlands. skied jackson for 30+ days last year so thats an option, was also thinking revelstoke or maybe altabird. Would spend about half the trip maybe more skiing backcountry, so resorts like jackson with a bunch of access gates and terrain everywhere are super nice. Any suggestions?
 
Sounds like you've got the gear to your so you might as well go to revy and spend your time touring Rogers pass.
 
Squaw is sick for inbounds but I don't think they allow access for sidecountry. Jackson has those gates and you know it so obviously you would be safe there. I would love to go to Revelstoke.
 
Have you skied Big Sky? Not exactly as good of backcountry or as easy access as JHMR. But as far as big mountain skiing goes, there isn't a better place in the continental US for that type of skiing.
 
Come to Whis... Plenty of gnarly shit inbounds and a metric fuckload of touring either off the resort or a short drive away.

Whistler is fucking great but imo its too big and crowded

Go to Telluride. Some of the best lift access terrain in the whole damn country. Also's got some ridiculous sidecountry
 
Revelstoke is sick. Some many cliffs and chutes that are easy to access. The only thing is you gotta hit it right cause when it's icy it's not fun with how steep the terrain is. Whistler has a ton of raw terrain but be prepared to wait in line for a while. Every resort has its pros and it's cons. All the resorts mentioned seem pretty sick but I can only talk for whis and the stoke so I can't help you with the rest.
