Big Mountain Comps (for a girl)

One of my friends here would like to join some big mountain comps. Are there any open ones around washington that she could join?
I do not know to much about the process since I have never been in one, so anyone with any information or experience if you could share your experiences it would be greatly appreciated.

Is that for all ages or just kids? I said girl, but I guess woman. I think she's somewhere around 20.

in washington theres the cowboy up (junior event) and the silver king freeride at crystal. If you wanna drive alittle bit into canadia theres the smith optics tour that has comps at fernie, red mountain, kimberly and lake louise i believe.
