so yeah I just graduated early from high school, and I'm moving to utah tomorrow to ski until the snows gone, then to mammoth until the end of june so fucking pumped. any suggestions about driving across the country or living with witt foster?
 
How are you paying for your extended ski vacation? Have you been saving the money, or is it like a graduation present from your parents?
 
whi care how hes paying for it. everyone knows skiing is a relatively rich sport, but that has nothing to do with his skiing

hes not rich, it just doesnt cost much to do that. you work all summer, make 3g. finish high school go stay with a friend out west for 200 a month, buy passes-about 1500. then you have 1500 to live off of. you dont have to be rich to save 3g
 
well hes staying with like 5 other guys, so hes paying no more than 200 a month, hes only there for 6 months. 1200+1500 in passes is 2700. 300 dollars when you dont have a car can get you pretty far. everyone in salt lake goes to the mountain. 300 will get you cheap food for 2 months. so maybe 3500...still not that big of a deal
 
true, especilly if he gets a job washing dishes or something 2 or 3 nights a week he will make plenty to eat and buy most of the things he needs.
 
I just graduated from high school today too man. I'm fucking stoked. I'm not moving anywhere, but I plan to ski constantly!
 
thanks man, and if your are interested in my financial state thats pretty reasonable because it took a lot of planning. thankfully im rich and my parents are pay for everything....

hahahahahahaha NOT, naw I worked all sumer and made like 2500 plus like a grand more during the school year then won like 4000 in this comp which helped and my rent is only like 125 a month because I'm living in a basement/boiler room thingy and I'm going to work 2 days a week for food hopefully because I dont want to dig too far into my money cause i gotta save it for college and what not but yeah, like 125/month rent, 700 pass, food like what no more than like 25 a week right? plus I have like a hard earned 5G buffer just in case. (thanks Roque's mexican resturarnt/ killy) so well see if im out on the street in a month, you'll all know that morman strippers are way too expensive eh? see you all in like a week!
 
dude your very very wrong. For a whole season minus pass and living, you will need at LEAST 3 grand to make it by the whole season. Thats the very min unless your a pussy and dont drink and do other fun thigns.
 
you give me 3g, not counting pass as you said and i can live for a year. i dont spend my money on worthless shit, i only spend it to get through and ski another day. i dont drink,smoke, or do any money wasting activities. id buy food in bulk rather than lil amounts of top brand shit.
 
You sound like you could live easily for a year. If you don't get involved into partying to much, you could carry that money over well into the next ski season.
 
you don't "graduate" highschool, you finish and move on. there is nothing special about finishing highschool. rant over.
 
yeah im comin back! I just got into boulder because my sister is going to school here, utah after a few days here. I drove from 9 am to 6pm yesterday, then my sister drove till 130am then i drove again from 130am until 730 am. then we passes off back and forth today and we are finally in boulder! utah soon though! Yeah!
 
5G'S halfway thru the season almost. 125 for rent. and u wanna work 2 days a week and try and reach probro status? sounds like the recipe for success to me!
