big gash in sidewall

ok I skied my first day on my brand new pe's on monday and when I got home I noticed a big gash in the sidewall and part of the topsheet... my leg hit a tree but I wasnt going that fast and I dont think my skis hit anything, so Im not sure if it was from that or not... do u think I could get them warrantied considering it was only my first day and I wasnt abusing them or anything? or is there any way to fill in the gash at all? I would post a pic, but Im not sure how...

 
That's only cosmetic. Warranty is for if there's something wrong with the ski.

dude, they are jib stick! its not from a tree, its from your edges. abs sidewalls suck. but it isnt an immediat problem. but you should go to homie depot and buy a thing of epoxy, (keep it to repair future shit) and fill it in. sand and cut off the extra. while there is fiberglass over the wood, you still dont want to get the core wet, casue it will never drie, and it will rot.

^ they might warranty them... but you can just fill them in with epoxy... i got my epoxy from home hardware.. :)

i got a gash on my sidewall down to the core as well and i epoxied it...works fine and looks fine with the epoxy...warantee won't cover that...

you are one giant piece of internet suck -...focus....

^^sorry I misunderstood ur post... it might have been from my skis slamming together when I hit the tree... I dont really remember what happend tho

I promoted my CVS and Stop and Shop card from the inside slits to the outside ones...my Blockbuster and gym ID got pissed off, but I told them, sorry guys, laminated plastics just can't cut it in the big leagues
 
lol they were inside the car for the trip... but yeah u can see why Im pissed. that happened on my first and only (so far) day skiing on them. sure I wont be able to get that warrantied? Im guessing not, but its worth a try

i have seen sharp edges take chunks out of a topsheet, but that is crazy...definately epoxy it so the core does not get wet.

ill be super rich and own mt.hood and let everybody from ns ski for free... except freezed
