Big brand new interview on MICK D !!!!

Well at least at my hill most people are chill but I have started to see a bit of a trend of Newschool becoming a bit like snowboarding but whatever brings money to the industry is good in at least thats what I think. And I really do wish I would have been born a few years earlier so I could have experienced the good old days and the comradry(sp) but thats not the case. All I can say is i'm stoked on skiing on my little 200ft hill and starting park this year with some friends. And yeah Mick D has some sick style but he seems to try waaay to hard to be gangster because he comes from Switzerland one of the whitest countries ever and richest aswell, but if thats what he wants to do then I could care less lol. Personally I think he should stick to skiing cause it seems he can do that better than rap ahahaahha.

i met mick when i was like 12, and still see him quite often around, because he use to live right on the other side of the border in morgins (i live on the french side but only 10 min away)

I am assuming you are from switzerland, so maybe you know about some of the shit you are talking...

But, from someone who has been there several times, I can easily say that Switzerland IS one of the most expensive places to live. Ski passes are close to 80 USD a day, lunch will cost you 30 USD per person (at St. Moritz anyways) and people there are generally wealthy (ESPECIALLY THE ONES THAT SKI!).

Sure there might be countries with more money (Monaco, Barbados) but Switzerland is right up there with GDP per capita.

So telling us that 'we dont know shit' because we say that people in switzerland have money and are mostly white is a bit off man.

I'm starting to wonder if all these people saying that skiing has turned gay even ski. I dont know about you guys but every place i've gone skiing, which is quite a lot, people are generally looking to have a good time and rip around the mountain, stop paying so much attention to the media part of skiing and go out and fucking ski. Mickael can do whatever he wants, he's over in some other country doing his own thing, im doing mine.
 
That segment is so dope. You can see where Tanner gets some of his inspiration for his style from, btw I wish Tanner would complete slope again, he has mad style as well.

I also wish Mik D came out with a full length segment-of just skiing, not rapping.

Other than that NS needs let's just all get along because we're all skiers and the rest of the world disrespects our sport, so we should stop disrespecting ourselves.
 
i am well aware st moritz is high class, because the people can obviously afford it. That was more my point.

And no, it wasnt at a hotel or anything, this was on the hill. I remember a powerade was like 7.50, a bread bun was like 8 francs, and if you wanted a sandwich or some pasta or meat it was between 15-25.

Honestly, the most rediculous prices I have ever seen. Clearly, ppl can afford that shit there cause the restaurant was packed.
