ok people, this thread has run its course.

all that has been proven is that some people like who he is and what he's doing and some people don't. i personally like his skiing but not the image he projects, but to each his own.

mik d= one of the nicest guys i've met. love or hate it, he is as talented as anybody there is.
 
someone needs to find that post on here by John Reedy (detective... where the fuck did he go anyways) and post it in this thread. It was the one where he talked about Mick's day the day he won the Us Open with the infamous sw 10.

anways, just like tanner says, for every person who likes you, there will be 10 who dont. as far at Mickael goes, I am one who likes him, cause honestly, no one has more style than the guy in my opinion.

im not really into the whole gangster thing, but he is awesome,  he has such a good attitude about skiing and where it should be.
 
No doubt his skiing style is smooth but I would like to see a him cut a decent full length seg without all the murda/blunt/bitches footage mixed in.

and i think you'll find that if anyone "invented" the true tail/blunt, try candide or maybe new canadian airforce members back in the day. mickael is good, but has not been responsible for any of freeskiing's landmark moments.

when did skiing get so angry? i love this sport, but never forget it is the pasttime of rich white people. i love mik ds style but i see him and 9thward as the biggest posers in the game, selling a fictional gangster image to be paid for on mommys credit card all across the country.

he's not making videos of him and his buddies doing backflips off bridges and houses and jumping on flaming shards of glass with short, lame cut scenes of skiing. he's making sick edits. he's doing something sweet with both skiing and music and you're all calling him out for it and saying he's a big fake.

So, this is the first time I have posted in a while. The reason being NS, got really extremely gay. Take a look at my profile it should say "member since 2002". So when considering what he has been saying, yes skiing has gotten really gay. First of all, all of the big spins. Secondly, everyone dresses the exact same(hes not saying don't look gay) hes saying don't dress all the same, get your own fucking style. Finally, park mentality is fucked up as shit.

Big spins are gay, because they don't incorporate style, although i am going to get flammed for this, you can ask any pro. Ask them what could you style out more, a 720 or a 1080, they will tell you a 720 yet for some reason, judges award the 1080 for the winner... Yeah it is a harder trick, but i would rather see a sw 7 styled out more than a sw 10 and have the sw 7 win.

Secondly, when he says don't look gay, he saying, you all wear the same shit, you look the exact same and dress all the same. Learn how to be different, the whole movement of skiing was the people who didn't want to snow board and as a result learned how to ski in the parks. It is all of you following bitches who ruined our sport and turned it mainstream. Now jon has to do double flatspin to 180 to win because of you.

Finally, back in the day, it was true, we didn't have all of these noob skiers, skiing around thinking they were all cool because they were dressed in baggy clothes and had the newest oakley goggles, or whatever else it was. Everyone was there to ski which is what he is talking about. It was not about ohh look guys i can do a 630 to rail, you guys all suck and i am way better than all of you. The reason i learned rails is because someone fucking helped me learn, how often do u see that anymore, everyone just fucking skis for themselves. All of you gaypers brought in the negative mentality not mick D.

And although I don't like MicK D's get up or his image, he says some things which you could all learn from. He came from a wealthy family and yeah its fucked he took that image but so what. HEs sayin that Freeskiing has become gay, and in a way its really true. SO FUCK YOU FAUX.
