Anyone know when the predicted closing date is for this season and how conditions are currently up there? I'm thinking of probably going tommorrow or thursday, and probably the weekend since Creek's only open till 5
 
Ok, that's good. I'm planning on going today. I'm just hoping that they won't be checking passes, since I'm shit out of cash and need to ride.
 
Oh, and I know they don't usually check on the weekends, but do they usually check passes during the week? Wanna know whether or not I should actually head out there if they're gonna be checking.
 
Parks were pretty good. They were reshaping the park, so only the intermediate and the smaller one were open. There weren't too many people there, so basically anything that was supposed to slide wasn't really working too well. Overall though, I was surprised how good the conditions were and that the parks weren't totally rutted out. The pipe was definitely in bad shape, but I wouldn't expect them to be shaping it this late in the season. Good park, compared to Creek I'd rather go there rather than Creek since they're still actually maintaining the features.
 
what do you mean by basically anything that was supposed to slide didnt do it well. you mean like stickyness cause i have heard the stuff there is very sticky.
 
Yeah, I meant the boxes were sticky as hell unless people were hitting them every single run. I don't know what it is about those things that make them so sticky. I would think that they would have the same surfacing that creek uses since they hired the guys from creek to build their shit. Everything else was nice though, the jumps were pretty much perfect and the pipe was bumpy and sketchy but still fun and much better than I would expect. The biggest park (I think it's Boulder Park) was being rebuilt with a couple of big jibs and a jump line and I think that's open now. I'd go, compared to creek I'd say Boulder is the way to go since they've got everything maintained all nice.
 
i wouldnt suggest riding without a lift ticket at boulder... shit goes down if u get caught.. you end up payin 90 bucks for a ticket and ive seen people get speared before that tried to start shit with the employees... ask yourself, would you want someone using your facility for free after all the hard work youve put into it.. i know i wouldnt..
 
jared knows what is up... I have no problem with poaching, just don't cry about it if and when you get caught. remember you play, you pay.....

Besides, I think they have a sick deal on 08 passes, good for the rest of the year plus $50 debit bucks plus 2 voucher tickets.
