Big bear vacation in early april worth it?

Since it does nothing but rain in BC every day, looking to head somewhere the wife can hangout and I can ski. Looking for a decent beginner park and there to be some snow left, is big bear a decent choice? any others to consider?

bear in april is like summer shredding, think tank tops, suncreen, rampant drug and alcohol abuse, etc.

it's glorious and the park is always killer

Take a stop through Carlsbad or San Diego or one of the million beach towns on the way. Skiing + Beach life in one trip sounds epic. Would be good for the wife too if she's less core than you on the slopes.

they were rebuilding the park on friday for the weekend, it still has snow but it is melting fast. probably won't be a ton left in 2 weeks honestly. much better to do mammoth or tahoe.
