Big Air on Elk

This past weekend in Crested Butte, the annual Big Air on Elk went down and it was a huge success! The field of riders killed it, tons of people, and a very nice setup made it a very fun event to watch. Here are a few pics from the event that I thought I'd share with you all here, come out next year to watch this event! And congrats to Aaron Blunck winning it with a cork 10 tail!

also, what exactly is a step over?

yeah whats the difference between a stepover and a step down?

landing is higher than the lip, but is long and steep, so once you are over the landing, you can take it deep and have low impact landings if you under/overshoot.

stepdown, landing starts way below the lip, so there is much more impact if you under/overshoot.

The event went off incredibly well. Yes it was kinda shetchy but you'll have that when you are relying on a snowmobile to pull you in for speed. The guys did a great job building the sickest jump yet!
