Henrik's stuff looked sooo clean allll night while Bobby has just been robot spinning. No way bobby could have beaten Henrik, I'd have to agree with you man..

X-games is not the Olympics. It rewards taking the sport to the next level , not perfection and tonight he fucking got on an other level. X-games will always the be place where we peak into the future. Lets keep it that way , shall we?
 
He didn't need to throw it to win. He just decided to be a crazy fucker and do it anyway. Thus my point stands.
 
Don't think the issue was that it wasn't "perfect" it was that the judges ran out of room to score such a trick. But who can blame them, I don't think anyone at X was expecting a butter triple.

Do you guys understand how judging works? you judge tricks based on what you see in practice. the best tricks thrown in practice were trips and henriks butter dub. No one expected the butter triple to be thrown so they didnt accommodate room for it at the top of the scale. When trips and nose dubs came out they were given like 43 - 47's. the Nose trip had no where else to go but to 50. Its not perfection, its just the top score possible against all other tricks thrown tonight.
 
Haha I completely understand this and tried to make this argument several times last year during the whole Shaun White bullshit, but I was just making fun of the kids who were saying "lololol no perfect landing no perfect score lololz" last year and then saying Henrik 100% deserved "perfection."
 
This. Really HH's triple should have got ~47.

Elias should have gotten like 43 with his (it was the cleanest)

The rest of the triples should have been around 40 with nose but dubs around there too

Henriks triple really should have gotten like 52 compared to the standards of everything else, there was just no room left to score it other than 50

And does anyone know If that was the first time he has tried that or was it done before? I haven't heard any rumors and then boom just throws it. BOOM

When he almost over rotated the nose butter dub off the knoll at the SCI I knew a trip was in the future but I don't think he did... What a fucking man
 
Lol you twat who gives a fuck what score he got the man pulled a nose butter trip out of his ass in the heat of the moment and he didn't need a shit ton of pre event interviews or red bull exclusive jump sessions.

i smile every time i watch it, although the ads before and after every replay make watching it over and over pretty annoying.

too bad they cut off before he yells all that stuff into the camera afterwards, he sounds absolutely ridiculous. just to double check, the entire tv segment can be rewatched online/on xbox and espn apps and stuff right? i figure thats the only way to see the whole thing over again
