wuddup everyone? ive been having problems when it comes to big hits like 20+ feet. I'm afraid ill hit it and somehow mess up on the takeoff or in mid air and screw myself up. i was just wondering if there was anything to do to get me to hit it or if there are any keys to staying stable in the air. any help would be great

later.

yeah i used to have that problem too dude... SMS broke me in this summer. Just check were everyone else is starting from the top of the jump, and striaght line it from there, do your first trick with zero spin, and no grabs. Itll look gay,but thats just ur first time. Thatll break u in

i always have trouble predicting how much speed i need, today i over shot on an already huge table, fucked up my already shin banged shins

Hey, after you take a crap and wipe your butt and then go to wash your hands, do you guys turn on the faucet with your wipe hand or the other one?

just watch other people hit it, and get there speed...look where they start. see if they scrub off any speed. and then you should have the speed pretty well dialed...and like someone said, go to summer camp. you gain so much more confidence, and get so much better...maybe its the soft snow, maybe its the nice warm whether...who knows, but it just works

'When I'm mad as fuck you get shot and to some it's bad luck, I believe you held something back for too long, it grew strong and energy got its own will, and people think that we make music still, but music is there without you or me we just minipulate for better or worse so let it situate.'

just say fuck it and go for it thats the only way.

you will land some and get fucked up some as well but eventually you will have a really good idea of how much speed you need.

yah what that ^ guy said. It's all just practice, work your way up to the bigger hits. Learn small think big. You'll get it if you want it bad enough.

Don't think just jump.

Scout the jump before you hit it. Try to get an idea of how big it is, how much space you have until the landing and (most importatnly) how much landing space you have. The first few times (as was already mentioned), just jump and land. If people think you look stupid, then f*ck 'em. It's always better to get a feel for a jump before trying anything on it.

It's AAALLLLLL in your head, I've been there before, you just gotta say, what the fuck, if something happens atleast I'll die trying something I love.......

always do something (like a grab) in the air, it prevents you for screwing up in md air.

Quebec freestyle is incredibly correct, when you grab, you won't flail as much, and be under control more. What you do is hit the jump kinda slow at first, then raise the speed higher and higher, test the jump. You gain confidence and experience, on that jump. Spinnin and inverts are not a great idea, because they set off balance, and with no experience on a jump, you mite screw up

Cant we all just get along, fuck that, can't we all just get a bong

yeah, I left that grab part out. You definatly need to use a grab. You kinda trick yourself with a grab, and you dont worry about being 20 feet off the ground

dont worry about what is going to happen, ride like you always ride, and if that doesn't work, smoke some bud and then rip with gorilla steeze.

If your attack is going well, then it's an ambush..

Same as everyone else was sayin, scout the jump first so you know what speed to use. And trying a small spin (180, 360) or a grab will keep your mind of things. Most important i think is confidence, you have to approach each jump like your gonna land it.

all grabbing does is make your body compact so it's harder to get off balance in mid-air. it does help, but works just as well to just tuck your legs in real tight to your chest. plus it keeps you centered forward...
