Big air contest

there's a big air contest this weekend at the resort that i ski at and i stopped up there today to check out the jump. The park guy told me that from the lip of the biggest take off to the landing is 52 feet. But the biggest table that we have in our park is only between 17-22 feet. I can throw pretty nice 7's an 9's with safety grabs but im worried im gonna spin them to quick and finish my rotation too early and just be hangin in the air. How can I slow it down? also why do you think a resort would do that, i mean build such a big jump but the whole year you practice on something a third the size? thanks for the help

Is it cheating if the girl is from another country?

Some one please help !!!

Who knows why they did it....just be thankful. If you are throwing 7s with grabs, then don't worry about the jump. If you get the chance, take a couple of test runs....do a speed check and whatnot. Spinning is just timing.....the bigger the jump the easier too, once you get used to it. Just gradually try to build yourself back up to those 7s, and maybe try a 9 with the extra space. Trust me....if you are good enough to throw down 7s and stuff on such SMALL jumps....then a bigger jump will be nothin'.

We'll have you dead pretty soon.

im not sure why they would do that. probly scared that someone will hurt themself. my best advice would be to get alot of practice on the jump. do a 360 then a 540 then a 720 then a 900 that way u will learn how to spin off that jump and u will be set for the comp.
