Beware of some serious corporate greed at Marker

I pointed out some simple facts. I don't need the cash, and most tech would charge $30 for a tune. I don't ask for anything, but if you knew ONE DAMN THING ABOUT THE SKI INDUSTRY, you'd know that beer is great legal tender in the tech world, and it's appreciated more than cash. It's also better than cash if you're going to spend the day hanging out tuning gear and watching ski porn - a couple beers make the day go by in a much better way.

I have 13 years experience working on gear - you SHOULD want me working on your skis. I'm pretty damn good at it.

It's spelled "wouldn't". I don't want you to look silly anymore.

BTW, when you went to my profile to "damage" my karma rating (OH, THE HORROR!!), you should have noticed I'm married - and yes, my wife DOES want me... Why I'm wasting time with you is REALLY beyond me.

Can we be friends now?

ha. friends. yea dude I guess we can, I mean its over the internet, I dont really have to be your friend. Oh and by the way, I dident touch your karma. Guess there is more that one person on ns that hates you.

Hey to the guy who originaly created this thread, im super sorry for ruining it. But yea usualy Marker is pretty damn good.

College grad - BS in Sports Mgmt & Exercise Science. Wanna compare resumes now too? Glad you have a great job - not only can you buy beer, you can also afford it! Yay!

VM is hardly something I worry about. I didn't insult you - I pointed out what the thread was about, and you got all butt-hurt over it, and chose to escalate it from there. I don't really care one way or the other to be honest. I was talking about what the OP was, and he was talking about bindings you probably never saw, used, or worked on.

Irony - that would have been true had I sat and thrown about 4-letter words like a 12 year old. I didn't - and if "Buttercup" is tough for you to take, I feel for you. You should find a different line of work. Forestry isn't for the thin-skinned.

Can we be friends now too?

alright dude, shut up. you think your sweet. great, E high-five coming

your way. you can mount skis, whoopdy fuckin do. being able to use a

drill is not a skill to brag about. and dont talk about K, youre a newb, the first thing you probably did when i told you to gtfo and stfu was lower mine. anyone who even notices that crap or gives it second thought is pretty lame. sweet, you can correct minor grammatical mistake...again, whoopdy fuckin do. any thing else to offer to society?

but really, this has all been in good taste guys, a nice dose of interwebz banter at night is always a good refresher. but im going to end it here. dont bother respondings because i wont open this thread again

whats really funny is that we all agree on the topic. royal family = good. someone just felt the need to try and play mod for a minute

and OP, sorry bout your pain my mom has had very serious back issues for 25+ years now from faulty golf equipment so i can sorta understand where you are coming from

:)

I'm okay with "the haters"...as long as we can be friends.

BTW - making friends on the internet has it's advantages - it's cool to always have a couch to crash on whenever you head outta state to make some turns. ;)

Now THIS is irony... I have a herniated disc at L5-S1 from golfing. More from faulty technique though. Probably ultimately from something else, but golfing set it off.

OP - sorry about the thread douche. I was bored tonight. Should have been at the pool tonight (rehabbing), but I have to patrol all night tomorrow night, so I took a lazy pass. I hope you get some resolution at some point.

fuck, i said i wouldnt open this but waddayakno? you still dont really understand the howl point of the irony and hypocrisy comments. and please, you dont know shit about forestry, 99% of people wouldnt last 1 weekend in my field. go take stand measurments, calculate sustainable yield and LAI for 3 consecutive days sleeping in a tent, in the cascades, in february, then tell me that im not thick skinned.

but yea, E bffs now. hooray for all, now im going to kindly gtfo

Ain't worried about it - glad you enjoy your job - and I never claimed to know a thing about forestry. You probably don't know much about buying/importing pharmaceutical chemicals either, but I don't hold it against you - I hate the office. I liked it better when I'd spend 15 days (and nights) in the field too (military). Thin skin has nothing to do with how tough you are...

Have a great night...it's been entertaining. :)

Alright so I was too lazy to read the whole thread and I already forget what this argument was about, but I can vouch for this guy. Beer is like crack for us ski techs.

Care to say how many days you've actually toured on dynafits? Dukes?

This place cracks me up before arguing with morons I just pull up their profile read and look for pics

Pretty much if there is just a pic of some snot nosed kid with his camera phone in a mirror or 3 sets of skis that tells me everything I need to know.

I can't figure out if the one dudes a skier or professional masterbater

he just keeps coming

Old markers suck and prerealse dukes and barons are decent touring binders dont own any pure alpine binders but don't think grif schiznots or whatever are as durable as solis or rossis

Argue on kids

Heh... I was never able to get into that. The military (I was in the Nat' Guard for 10 years) kinda frowned on "the smoke". ;)

Yeah did a couple years over in Germany for uncle sam. Perfectly acceptable to go out drink your ass off get shitfaced start fights but heaven forbid you hash up and sit home and listen to the darkside of the moon. You wouldn't be mission ready the next day.

oh yeah I bumped your karma and lowered some duesches cause serving your country and going through military bullshit is way harder and more honerable than wacking off in a tent counting trees or any forestry bullshit

Thanks...but be nice. ;) Everybody has their thing. I wish I didn't have the financial responsibilities I have some days, so that I would be able to do alittle dream chasing. Oh well...life is good anyway. It's about the journey.

Back on topic - +++vibes+++ to the OP. I hope your quality of life improves to some degree. Have you pursued any legal remedies?
