It's not often we get the chance to bet on our sport but a couple of bookmakers are giving odds on Mens Slopestyle.

I was interested to hear what everyone thought about the odds and whether anyone was putting money down?

Goepper is understandably the favourite but there is a site offering 24/1 on Gus and I thought that was huge. I also couldn't find a price for Henrik.

if gus can actually put something together with multiple triples then i'd say he has a damn good chance

As it is such a niche sport, in betting terms, some of the prices seem fairly wild.

I agree completely that Gus has a good chance and at 24/1 I had to put money on it.

So the idea is that you bet 10$ on gus and if he wins you receive 240$?

Im working in £ here as I'm from the UK but yeah put down 10 and you get back that 10 plus 240 if gus wins.

In contrast if you put 10 on Goepper at 13/8 you get back your 10 plus 16.20

I think Goepper is more likely to win than Gus but the difference just seems outrageous.

Stuck a tenner on. Divided into individual bets on Gus, Bobby, Nick, Woodsy and Russ. Couldn't get each way on William hill. Trying to cover them this way instead.

Anyway, I've got,

Goepper: bet = £2, returns £5.20

Bobby: bet = £2, returns £12

Russ: bet = £1, returns £15

Woodsy: bet = £2, returns £ 12,

Gus: bet =£3, returns £63

Chances are I'm either losing £10 or £5 if Nick wins or making fuck all .

Unless Gus claims the win.

I am actually getting pretty stoked for Sochi now. Didn't think I would be to this extent. Henrik says in his blog that hes watching cool runnings a bunch and hes reading zlatan ibrahimovics biography now. Thought that was sick.
