Better ways to sell and trade

I am not a fan of how when you sell and trade items, you have no way of guaranteeing that you get the item. 95% of the people won't scam you but what about that 5%. I just don't trust some people out there. Isn't there a better way?

If you dont trust them tell the seller to put it up on eBay, that way you are covered by the ebay protection thing... I think this is true, not 100% sure so dont quote me!

Ebay is the same type of thing if you think about it. THe only difference is there are legit businesses on there. Ebay has some scammers but, I see what your saying since you can get your money back if they scammed you.

if you pay with paypal, you can just file a claim if they dont ship and paypal gives you your money back, simple as that. Also make sure to get their address and phone number

This. I would say if the item is pushing $50 send it as anything, but gift. There might be an extra fee, but it's worth it.
