I said the same thing about myself for a long time. Honestly it's because i wanted to BELIEVE that there wasn't a racist bone in my body, i strive to be that way, but the reality is, we are all biased in some way or another we all have our prejudices however small or even unconscious they may be. Honestly, your heart is in a good place, but racism is ingrained into a lot of how we view the world... your taste in women stems from somewhere right? Part of that is our natural tendency to gravitate towards what is similar... familiar, not different and threatening, you see a lot of segregation happen this way. It's ok to admit there is an ounce of racism in your body because honestly if you can't see it... how can you fight it?
