Better Conditions or Longer Season?

Pretty simple question, would you rather have a shorter season with good conditions, or a longer season with ok conditions? Personally, I would want shorter with better conditions.

Usually good conditions correlate with a longer season, making this thread pointless, unless the place you ski at closes unnecessarily early.

But a resort ALWAYS stays open through their lease with the forest service, again making this question kinda stupid IMO

This question needs better parameters, like if you live next to a dryslope that's skiing 365 days a year, except you're never on real snow. Long season yet, probably not a trade most people would make.

if you piece everything you've said together, you've basically said that shitty/ok conditions allow for resorts to stay open longer but if it's a great year they close early?

huh
