Betroth Basin Summer Skiing

Anyone in the Bozeman/montana/wyoming/idaho area planning to hit up Beartooth Basin this summer? Also whats it like? This summer will be my first time hitting it up, what conditions can I expect, type of skiing, overall is it worth the three hour drive for me?

overall is it worth the three hour drive for me?

yes. its pretty much the best summer skiing you can get in the US unless you're looking to just ski park. even then, they set up some pretty neat stuff for the on3p summer session. its two little pomas that service some really fun bowls, cornices and big mountain lines plus insanely easily accessible backcountry. the snow is typical summer corn but fun as hell. I'll be out for the summer session and maybe a few other weekends

Going to the summer session for the first time from Minnesota. Possibly making a second trip later in June, do they keep the rails and the booter up after the summer session?
