Beta, Cults

I've been testing the beta for the NS app and can't figure out how to get to cults. If someone else on the app could direct me that'd be great.

Soooo....

cults have been left out of the app for now.

We we had to make some really hard decisions in order to get this app done and slick. One of those hard decisions was to leave cults out.

The activity in cults has declined so much in the face of Facebook groups we didn't feel the work was worth it. They are one of the most legacy features on the site, and can't just be fixed - they would need to be rebuilt.

As such, of there's enough people that feel they should come back we will put it on deck as a feature over the summer... but for now they are on deck to be retired.

Which cults do do you use?

You could always make the door to cults be some obscure place in the app where only people who want to navigate there will ever even see it

Sadly it doesn't work like that. In order to make it work in the app, it needs significant work. Right now that back door is to use your computer.

They aren't gone, they're just not available in the app. They are still accessable via desktop.

If we do see a major resurgence in forum activity via app for more obscure forums, we'll definitely add them to the app.
 
I was going to ask this same question. I also use the build a jib 101 cult sometimes. Btw I'm loving the app!

Stoked you like it! Tech team put a huge amount of work into this whole overhaul this winter. Trying to clean the place up and modernize it. ;)
