Best & Worse Songs of Guitar Hero III

In your opinion, name the best and worse songs for GHIII. At least for the moment, it may change for all of us.

Best: My Curse by Killswitch Engage

Comments: This song is just pure guitar hero awesome. From the delicate riff at the start to the wrist-cramping power lines at the end it is nothing but 100% fun. Do yourself a favor and turn it up as loud as you can.

Worst: Black Sunshine by White Zombie

Comments: Nothing much to say about this song. It's long, boring, and extremely stupid. There are no interesting or catchy riffs, and it's not especially difficult. It's just an obnoxious song you have to get through to move on, and I can never see myself going back to play it for fun, but only to maybe improve my score. Fucking hate this song.

Again, this is just for the moment, subject to change. What about you?
 
i really like ghI and kind of liked ghII. i think ghIII compares with I because it has an equally decent set list. II's set list was no good, there were maybe 5 songs that i like to go back and play, but they got old and the rest was shit. luckily i didn't have to pay for it, my brother bought it, so i am no poorer than i was before. but i'm happy he got it, it's much better than II and as good as I, possibly even better, i haven't played I in a long time so i'd have to go back to compare. but i am very happy with it, it's a lot of fun with some new game modes, and a great long set list (except for that one fucking song [at least so far]).
 
You didn't say Bulls on Parade? Even with that icon? Come on man...

Just kidding, I love playing that song just because it's Rage, but from a strictly GH standpoint I kinda liked the slipknot song, and I think Generation Rock on the bonus was sweet, if I remember right.

it's obviously going to be one of my favorite songs to listen to, but from a guitar hero standpoint, it lacks, and it hurts me to say that. still fun to play once in awhile really loud though.

and the song by the killers is actually also a really good one. i've never liked them much before playing that but i really enjoyed that song.^^^^^

and bloc party was also a really fun one, good to rock out with a friend in co-op.^
 
the whole set list is pretty awsome probably the best out of any gh game. I just don't like the songs in the last two listes except for cult of personality and the devil went down to georgia
 
it sucks the songs are terrible and its jsut like button mashing all the songs on expert are just like rapid fire gay shit its not even fun and the music sucks its jsut shitty ingeneral i would only buy it for live
 
imo the best songs are cliffs of dover, through fire and flames, and a lot more, the one that i really hate it the one by slipknot because, well its by slipknot

We fucking can't beat Raining Blood on expert, it's just too crazy and even if you use the star power it knocks you out SO fast. Any tips?
 
hahahhahaha PRACTICE. that's all there is to it, no secret there. just keeping playing that annoying sack of shit until it's over with and then never play it again because it sucks. that was a close contender for the worst song on my list, but it was actually challenging so i had to give it that.
 
I really,really like through the fire and flames-dragon force...i cant even play it but its fun to tell your friends the scores you got when you play it in practice or in pro face off. My best is 75% so far,and thats when i beat it in pro face off so you cant lose. Oh and btw i think its a great game much better than 1 and 2,it makes you feel like more of a rockstar if you know what i mean; the gameplay makes it easier to play way harder stuff so you can nail solos that might seem impossible in gh 1 or 2.
 
i just remember sitting there and playing it a few times on full speed. if you can just get those stupid lines that go from orange down, its easy. for some reason i kept hitting them and didn't need star power until that stupid part after them. that song is gay.

knights of cyclonia is a pretty good song. i like most of it but i can't hit those fast nights in a combo so i don't like it as much as i would if i could.

I also like this song, but I can't beat it on hard, the triplet section is fuckhard.
 
I beat it on hard by just going crazy on the frets.

ON A SIDE NOTE I can't do the slipknot song on hard. It's f'in hard.
 
sometimes i think expert is easier because theres so many more hammer on sections than hard. youhave to strum mad many times on hard.
 
My name is Jonas is so repetitive, it's hard to like. But it definitely isn't a terrible song, so whatever.

Personally, I can't stand some of the beginning songs, there terrible.

i hate baracudda...that 3 note pack that the whole song is blows to play....i can;t do it
 
The hammer ons are fun, but the rest of it is just chord chord chord.

Barracuda is tough, especially cause the strumming makes your arm die at the end.

My favorite is either Santana or The Metal.
