Best Wide All Mtn Ski

SKIANYWHERE

I'm 5'11" 145lbs and i'm looking for some new wide all mountain skis that can handle anything from bumps to pow and take a few laps to mess around and butter in the park. Looking at Rossignol S6, Line SFB, Atomic Blog, Atomic Access, etc. Any Thoughts?

blogs, bacons, jjs, etc. will all be good choices. Also look into the new Line Mr. Pollard's Opus. 118 underfoot, slight early taper, and a long but very gradual early rise for versatility and speed. sidewall+sintered base+the filthiest graphics you will ever see on a ski make this thing one hell of a monster.

I still like the ObSETHed and the Kung Fujas. Probably the ObSETHed in this case. Most versatile ski I've ever ridden. Lots of fun too.

Ya, I saw those but I'm still thinking go thinner with the SFB because I don't get too many chances to ski a foot or more of pow during the season so i don't need it to be a pow machine like that.

sfb are 108 this year, but kung fujas are way better if you like something to do everything. way poppy, flappy front that floats up in pow, great for buttering in park. i use them for everything but competitions

This. All other answers are wrong. It's not even an opinion, the blend is actually the best ski in the world. I had a smile on my face then entire time I tried my friends. They slay pretty much everything, and you can butter like crazy.

sorry to thread jack (although slightly related to the OPs queston)

Has anyone tried the new Rossi s5, now called the Schmitar??

similar dimensions to last years s5 (98 in the waist i think) but with the flat camber / mellow rocker of the s6..

Sounds pretty dope as a widish all mountain ski

I'll admit, the newer ones with early rise were pretty playful for my tastes. older models not so much...

How are the SFB's and the ObSETHed on crud and groomers? i know the kung fujas are supposed to be good but they pry wont float that well
