Best wheat beer?

im a big fan of pale ales and wheat ales. whats your fav wheat brew? i really love sam adams white ale.

theres a store with a pretty big selection down the street. any suggestions for whats good? and dont say blue moon or hoegaarten.

also whats a good pale ale? i love sierra nevada, its my fav beer but I havent tried many others, mostly bc a 12 pack of sierra is 10 bucks at walmart thats tough to beat
 
I like Unibroue's Blance De Chambly. Their Fin Du Monde is also good, but it's not strictly a whitbeer. It's got more carbonation and spice than you'd expect, but I love it.

I heart hefeweizen.

Best beer i've ever had was new castle brown ale though. Wheat beer isnt exactly my fancy.
 
Pyramid Hefeweizen is my go-to beer. Apricot Weizen is really interesting too, although I'll probably never drink it regularly.
 
Oberon. I absolutely love it. It is made by a small brewery in Michigan called Bells, bottled in Kalamzoo. It was rated the 4th best microbrewery beer in the world by ratebeer.com.

If you can find it you definitely have to try it.
 
Easy Street Wheat
Avery IPA. actually try anything from Avery Brewery, its expensive as shit but guarantee you it'll be one of the best beers you'll have. One of the only truly awesome things to come out of boulder
 
The Sam Adams White is really good. I also like Squatters Orphan Abbey (SLC beer, don't know where you're from). For hefs...hmmm, not usually a big hef drinker but Desert Edge has a good one (another SLC microbrewery).

For pale ales, I like Squatters Full Suspension. Ithaca (NY) makes a good pale too, don't remember what they call it. Not crazy about the Sam Adams pale but it's alright.
 
Hoegaarden.....try this beer, one of my favorites...gauruntee you'll love it

They make an Apricot Wheat Ale that it so good, nice and crisp. And Blue Moon, though I have yet to try it with an orange slice. Someone said with a tangelo slice and that just sounds better.
 
Dog Fish Head IPA 60, 90, or 120 if you can find it. I don't know where you're at but it may be kind of hard to come by out west. If you ever get the chance though, grab it up. If you like Sierra Nevada, you should enjoy this.

dont mean to be a dick, but my post said not to bother mentioning blue moon or hoegaarten. I hate hoegaarten, shit's expensive and tastes really bland. blue moon's ok

Good thread. Wheats and Pale ales are 2 of my favorite beer styles.

Favorites:

wheat beers

Bavarian Hefeweizen: Paulener

American Hefe:-many good ones: Easy Street, Oberon, Pyramid, Golden Spike sooooo many.

Belgan wit: Hoegaarden, Sam adams white ale (any whithout mad coriander taste) I dig hefes more

Pale ales

EPA: Sierra Nevada, Summit, Cut throat/anglers

IPA: Bells Two Hearted Ale (current favorite beer) & Dogfish head

 
Long Trail Blackberry wheat is where its at. Best beer this planet has ever seen. To bad its mainly a vermont thing
 
bbws are ehhhh bordeline bitch drink. like miller chilllllls.....they are far from the best beer anywhere...thats kinda insulting to anyone who appreciates beer....but if you are still in highschool its a decent beer (not knocking im still in it also) but bbw gets way too good a rep for such a mediocre flavored beer. try some magic hats more regularly you might like it.
 
a tasty beer but i think considered a white ale? they serve it with orange, not lemon, if that means anything..
 
regular blue moon sucks, but their seasonal ales are way good.  the summer one "honey moon" is my favorite 
 
Are you serious? The best thing about BBW is that its flavor isnt over powering and you still get a good hoppy taste. Magic HAt Fat Angel is my favorite
