Best way to wash leather mitts?

My white Wells Lamont’s are pretty dirty and have no idea how to properly wash them. Am I stupid? Probably. Should you harass me? Definitely.
 
Maybe try saddle soap, you can buy it at most stores. If you’ve got stains try a 1:1 ratio of white vinegar and water to buff them out and then re-treat them with whatever you use to water proof them. Careful with the vinegar solution tho, and test it on a small spot to see if discoloration occurs.
