Best way to rid of excess room in boots?

Hey guys so I rock a pair of FT Konflicts that I bought about 3 weeks ago, size 25.5. They are the perfect size length wise, couldn't have gone any smaller.

Since I'm such a skinny fuck they've packed out enough that I actually have 1-2cm of free space between my calves and the front or back of the boot depending on which way I'm leaning.

Buckles are as tight as they go and boosters are as far in as possible.

Anyone here have a good way to deal with this room? I can't seem to think of a way to get rid of it, and it bugs me a lot because of lost control and stability.

have your boot-fitter custom shape some foam pads that go on the medial part of your liner, on the outside of the liner. This will help take up space between your ankle bone and your calf muscle. Also look into getting a pad made for behind your calf muscle. It might push your forward a bit, but it will take up slop which is more important.

At the two shops I have had experience with they will do most boot work (besides custom footbeds) for free if you bought boots from them

Have you had the liners molded? If so have them remolded, intuitions should wrap up pretty tightly once molded, even on skinnny legs.

If you haven't molded definitely do it, it will form to your leg. However it is rather counter intuitive when molding. DO NOT buckle your boots as tight as they can go and then flex, all this does is pack the foam and in turn you have a bigger fitting boot. Buckle them moderately and then proceed to flex on a 2x4

my mom is a ski instuctor and skies over 100 days a year, but she has the same problem and she sticks trail maps in between her liner and shell. do it against your calf on the back of your heel and it should remove the space

Get a mouse pad, cut it up and super glue it to places the places where you feel you have too much room. Make sure you taper the edges of the pads so that you don't make any pressure points. Also I would tape the pads on before you do anything permanent to make sure you like it. There is a good 4frnt Tech Talk on how to do this.

what shoe size are you? i have the same problem. It seems like I can never get boots in a size 7 that fit me and that I want. Some people, like myself and the OP have small feet.

I got some things called Eliminators from my shop, which are basically a soft extra tongue that goes on your shin. They worked great for me, having the same(ish) problem as OP

i would get them remolded or you can buy new liners from intuition if you really think they are packed out that bad

Comor did that for me when I had that same problem. They also threw in some of the eliminators that the guy above was talking about. They kinda worked, but it never completely solved the problem. Just gotta try a bunch of stuff, usually the shop that sold the boots to you will be willing to help out a lot.
Oh, and this might seem obvious, but have you got custom footbeds? They keep the foot a bit more snug in my boots than they used to be. Those superfeet things.

Thanks for all the replies guys.

I tried the trail map thing that someone stated earlier, and it worked as a temporary fix. Obviously there were random pressure points and stuff, but it did until I can get the boots back in the shop again.

It's really not a problem with foot movement as it is space between liners and calves when leaning forward or back. It's just getting worse now and I can't figure out why it's happening. Shop time I guess!
