Best way to put stickers on helmet

start on one side and SLOWLY make your way to the other, use a credit card or something like that to help apply it

Big stickers don't work on helmets dude. when you try to cover a curved surface with something flat, you'll get bubbles

haha agreed.but i mean if you wanna be picky about it heating it up with a hairdryer while u apply it works sometimes...just make sure not to overheat and stretch out the stickers

ok i know this thrad died a week ago.

but bubbling and crinkles can still happen with bigger diecuts. any solution to this?

I've a hint for bigger die-cut.. it work for me so all you need is to cut your sticker in 3 or 4 pieces or at each letter and apply them one by one and do a nice job, after that, I take a hairdryer and dry the sticker just a little bit ! so they stuck on my helmet and it's done ! and the key is : take your time.

I hope this will be helpfull sir

start slowly from one corner and slide your thumb over the sticker so you have as small/thin folds on the surface as possible, don't apply any pressure to this area at the moment...
then take a sharp penknife or stanely knife, and very very very very very gently cut and fine sliver out of the sticker along the fold of the sticker, so that the sticker is flush with the curve of the helmet, harder to explain than to do mind...
then apply pressure to the sticker, so the folds are now flat and flush, pop any bubble with a pin/needle/razor blade
works best if you can manage to get the crinkles/folds over areas of block colour, and not writing/patterns or else you will have to try and match letters up and shit.... try and arrange your crinkles correctly!

but obviously be careful with sharp shit around your lids because if you score a line in the hard shell your helmet could crack along that line in a bad crash, not goooooooooood!.

Just take a scissor and cut it up as your putting it on, no one will notice or care for that reason if they notice.

true that, to try and cheat you could actually try and use like a butane flame thrower lighter to take the stresses out so it lays flat. Obviously just be really light on the flame.

When I stickered up my helmet, I cut the stickers as I put them on the the pieces lined up. Seems like alot of other people do the same thing. It takes some time, but you get one sick sticker job in the end. I get so many compliments on my helmet. I spent like an hour laying it out and applying/ reapplying. Good luck.

^ defo ! i have used an iron but only on a low setting and i just go over the sticker quickly and it helps it stick more and gets rid of the bubbles!

When you put the diecuts on you should kind of pull them and stretch them (not actually stretch, but pull tight) and spread them with a credit card. They are pretty moldable, but you have to use vinyl diecuts.

also, use windex or something on the surface before you apply the sticker so that it is clean and you dont have any dirt or smudges under it

die cuts are really the only solution. otherwise, stick the very edge of it to your finger, and put the other end of the sticker on your helmet first and then smooth it down towards the other end where your finger is. this will prevent a part beyond where you are smoothing it from sticking before you want it too, which will obviously cause bubbles

i always tape the sticker on the top to wherever i want to stick it, flip up with back facing up, remove paper from sticker, and slowly apple with a credit card from the part closest to the tape down, then remove tape and its on perfectly
