to get used to it, just spin like you normally would, but try setting your shoulder slightly off the lip, tuck your knees to your chest, and stare straight down at your boots as you spin.
i do mine back and across, more like looking back and down at the lip of the jump as you take off...that corks you more to the right than the left tho as the explanation of throwing down to your boot which works too...just think of it as non-inverted misty if you wanna do it that way and a non-inverted d-spin the other way...
ok i rmembered now, what i did was drop down my inside shoulder of the spin and look at my heel, i guess i did it too drastically though since i went inverted and caught my backtips as i came down on the 5 and totally destroyed myself
the best and dare i say styliest way is a big carve into the jump then look at your heels. also the carve helps you keep rotating and not getting stuck in your spin
