Best way to get to mammoth?

whats the best way to get to mammoth flyng in from the east?

when i went i flew philly-->vegas-->reno and then took a shuttle to mammoth. it worked out really well, so i'd recommend getting yourself to reno and doing it that way. you can fly into LA too i think, but thats a long ass drive from there
