Best way to get out of work to go skiing?

What's the best way to get off work without getting fired? I need some help Thurs. Friday are gonna be sick!
 
if you are in school, make up something about needing to do extra trials for a big lab, or interviewing someone for a study. or just be like, i cant move, im sooo sick. i dunno, whatever you want to try
 
a long time ago a friend of a friend told me that he knew somone that called his work and told them he was sick. turns out it worked. I'm a little skeptical but you could give it a try.
 
find someone to cover for you that way your employer can't be too pissed cuz your taking responsibility and not making it his problem but taking care of it so he dosen't have to.
 
uh, call in sick? never fails, they can't be like "NO YOU"RE NOT!" I mean, i suppose they could, but then you could sue them if they fired you for being sick because theres no way they could prove it. then you could make lots of $ and never have to "get out of work to go skiing"
 
tell them a family member in another state died and your going to the funeral...thers no way they can say "no, they didn't die"
 
my new boss sounds like hes gonna be rough on sick days I believe the way he put it was "if you can get outta bed you can go to work" I'm already looking for another job
