Best way to fix this binding mount?

I don't want these to strip/etc so I'm going to re-do it. It's like a 1/8" or more gap. Tyrolia attack 14's

Should I just unscrew em, clean/scrape the screws and holes, blow any remnants out with a straw, and remount with epoxy or wood glue or something? Thanks

This is a super common thing that happens when mounting that binding. Use a screwdriver and back out the screws a bit until the heel is flush to the ski, the apply downward pressure as you screw it back in.

Cool, thanks. The glue is dry though, it'll pop free when I back it out, then is it still okay/watertight to just screw then right back in? Do I need to clean off the glue ring in-between the ski and binding so it can go down? Thanks

Shop stripped it, can't back it out.

Ahh man thats rough. I'd bring it back to the shop in the state that it's in and have them do it properly.

I'd pull the whole heel off and clean the old glue + shave down any volcanoing of the holes then add a fair amount of wood glue until its creampied. Hand tighten the screws down. if a hole is stripped (the screw is freely spinning) but you can't be bothered to get it remounted by a shop, just get a screw of the same length but wider diameter and she'll be snug

I got it out by heating the screw with a soldering iron and a flathead that fit in there. I swear it looks like they used a #2 instead of a #3

My wood glue went to shit in the garage, will either of these work? They don't dry hard tho and take forever to cure so honestly I don't know about it.
