Best way to clean ski clothes?

whats the best way? just a washing machine? i feel like if i constantly put my jacket in the washing machine after it gets rail stains or whatever marks from the snow its going to get messed up faster. any suggestions?
 
Snow: always staining your ski gear. For my snowstain disasters, I use the soon to be patented Face-Shot-Away-Spray.

The concede that the name might need some work.
 
our local mountain paints the rails and they chip. leaves marks on your shit...and they paint the lip and any of that shit pops up onto your skis and then onto your clothes. youve never seen discolored riding gear?
