Best way to begin skiing park?

I've been skiing since I was two years old but have never gotten into park skiing.

I plan to get into it the coming season. How should I start getting into this? What features should I try first? Should I try to master boxes first or try jumps, rails and more to start? Any help would be appreciated.

Start with boxes and then work your way up.

How much of a difference will it make that i only own a pair of all-mountain/big mountain/ powder skis? How far will i be able to get in park skiing with these? Will it damage them to much?

just watch your edges, and make sure you lean down the hill!! and have fun
