Best Wax

I have been using swix all temp for the past two seasons and no complains with it. This is in southern VT. Whats everyone favorite wax? Im looking for something new potentially faster. Would spend the extra on fluorinated if its worth it. I ski 90% all mountain if that helps
 
I am a big fan of Purl wax but I wouldn't be shocked if I was alone out there. I think it works really well and it is also apparently environmentally friendly and they donate some of the proceeds to non-profits.

I second the purl. 3-4 temps for all conditions, simple, and 'faster than you'.

One thing to consider is that it is formulated for the dry Rocky Mountain snow...haven't really heard how it performs elsewhere, but the spring wax and graphite work great for wettish snow (around here)
 
i normally use swix too. i base prep at the start of the season with ch10, and then ch8 for most of the winter. sometimes ill throw on some ch7 if its going to be cold for a while, but ch8 works pretty well for the conditions here. come spring and summer time its back to ch10.
 
I'm not too picky about wax. I use swix, but I've tried several small brands and didn't notice a huge difference.
 
I just use the big blocks of the mass produced stuff that shops buy. Blue in the winter, red in the spring. Good enough for me. I'm not racing or anything!
 
The special sauce racers talk about is actually dish soap, but if you don't want to go there when used correctly temperature specific waxes are faster the all temp.
