nah, its just that it emits so much light that when you place an IR filter in front, you basically have an IR torch, if you then look through IR sensitive devices such as Night mode on some cameras or through an IR night vision device, you can see through certain fabrics and distinguish certain shapes (ie a playing card hidden under a tshirt)
