1242 has bigger riders theres definately a sense of pushing it in that movie. theres also a better sense of community cause the kids are all sponsored by the same company.the extras on the dvd are fuckin hilarious. Seth and Hugos footage is all stock film from ski movie 2 and 3 so that kind of blows. Ready fire aim has more breakthrough skiers like dumont and olenick, the musics better like Stacey Q's song for Abmas segment. I went to see both of them at the same time and Ready fire Aim was on first thats probably why i like it more. I couldn't really say which one is better - just buy either one you'll be really happy.
rfa's much better than forward, so much more professional and well thought out
'you should probably get bindings or it will be hard to stay on your skis...don't get gloves tho, gloves are out. just use a cigarette to keep your hands warm' -221
i don't get it, some peole think 1242 and forward put rfa to shame and think rfa is the best of all but others think forward sucks, why is that? http://lptproductions.tripod.com/
Forward is the movie of the year, 1242 is good also but I wasn't really satisfied, because a lot of people said it was the best movie ever made, and believe me it is far from that
Freeskiing is a lifestyle, and true skiers are the ones who live this lifestyle, not the ones who follow it.
I would have to go with 1242 it has the best backcountry, best filming, best sound track, best skiers, best locations. Best documented progression of the sport. It is by far the best movie of the year.
Have not seen forward. 1242, focused, rfa were all good. I hear forward is really good. Out of the 3 i have seen, rfa is best. although its hard to say
