What do you think is the best video game to get for the holidays?

Searched barred and didn't find anything.

Skyrim looks good, but i might just stick with Call of Duty.

 
skyrim is fucking amazing bought it yesterday night already have 15 in game hours....
 
I've never played Skyrim, anybody wanna give me an overview?

I'm thinking MW3 is selling the most copies, BF3 gets game of the year, and maybe Skyrim listening to everbody about it.

took me like five tries to kill the frost troll that tries to fuck with you on your way to high hrothgar. what a bitch.

THE DARK BROTHERHOOD

All is going well when the legion attacks and clears out the whole sanctuary killing EVERYONE

You then have to go KILL CICERO

Cicero was the ADORING FAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111





The THIEVE'S GUILD

The main guy steals everything from the guild and you have to KILL HIM

THE COMPANIONS

You become a warewolf

You kill warewolf hunters

The leader dies and you become the leader (Shocker, AMIRITE)

MAGE'S GUILD

The obvious THALMAR badguy turns out to be the bad guy and you kill him.

MAIN QUEST

You kill dragons and get shouts

You have to kill the leader of the bad dragons

to do this you capture a dragon and ride on its back to heaven ( FOR REALS )

You kill the badguy with some help from some other people who can shout

Oh and there may have been some mentioned spoilers in the text above...

Now that you know what happens you can proceed with the rest of your life.

 
From what I've heard I don't think anything is going to beat Arkham City but if anything could it would be Skyrim
 
skyrim is garbage. just a bunch of warcraft nerds not playing warcraft but playing something like warcraft.

go slay more dragons. i swear it gets you laid.

The issue with that game is Uncharted 2 was so great and won game of the year. G4 said that if Uncharted 2 had never come out Game of the Year would be this new Uncharted. I'm surprised about the lack of Arkham City support on this thread
 
although it is a great game, there isnt enough new stuff to even consider it the best game of 2011.

skyrim to me sounds a lot like WOW or something, i guess if thats what your into its sick.

Battlefield 3 for me wins, most innovative game out there, deff. pushing the limits and moving forward unlike COD which is the same old bullshit (still fun...but bullshit). Battlefields sound, feel, map size, vehicles, lighting/graphics and everything is just awesome, h8ters just cant adapt from COD arcade style run and guns
