Best things to do in college

besides drugs, studying shit

and fornicating with women what is the best way to take your mind off not being able to ski for many many months?

btw go to school in LA

If you're in LA, pick up surfing. I'm applying for school next year and if I don't get to ski at school, I HAVE to at least be able to surf... But just explore, longboard, ride a bike, meet people, just have fun. It's chances to do whatever you want and not have to worry about work/life problems. Keep your studies up though!

Enjoy that freetime (or lack there of). You'll never get it back until you're retired, and then you won't have energy.

and if you're really that bored, pick up a part time job and get some extra spending money.

get high everyday all day, lounge around and do whatever the fuck you want to do with your time. pick up surfing or skimboarding,skate// longboard // bmx.

say yes to everything. like Jim Carrey in Yes Man.

Can't help you, all I do at college is ski and party.

Like my friend asked me what people do on the weekends and I didn't know because all I did was ski.

mammoth is like 6hrs and bear is like 2 and 30min. not bad but sucks when u dont have a car. (I play a sport). Is it worth getting a fiberglass skim board ( I have wood and its meh)/ buy a used surf board/ (don't know how else to get one down here)?

Hookers are always fun except when they teeth fall out during a blowie ^^^^. thanks for input

longboard, surf, grow weed

GMR is great for longboarding. Lots of spots out in Malibu, generally less beginner friendly though. Stay in your land on corners.

Surf spots aren't hard to find

For sure. I have a buddy at LMU and he carpools with a bunch of kids up to mammoth every weekend. Granted they have a house to stay in all season, so a day trip obviously wouldn't be ideal. But im sure you could find someone to carpool with up to Bear. Even just once or twice Im sure you'd have mad fun.

As for the skimboard. a big fiberglass board is sooo much fun. Maybe hit up craigslist and find a used one?

haha thats dope I go to LMU too. Is he on the ski club/freestyle team cuz they have a house up in mammoth? I might try it out next year but doing lax this year... Thanks for the insight +K

It sounds kind of lame, but make use of whatever facilities are provided with your tuition. That's something I've been paying for since day one, but only just realized I should start using.

For my university that means a gym, gymnastics room, indoor and outdoor track, ice rink, swimming pool, climbing wall, bouldering gym and yoga classes. Plus we get free tickets to sports, theatre, dance and music events at the school; and discounts on classes and rentals through the university outdoor centre.

My friend's university will even partially reimburse him for any concerts he attends.
