Wow, we have a long way to go. TBC was the closest thing I've seen that copares to the ass-kickery goin on in snowboarding movies. Makes most of our flix look like barney-ass-wack shit.
 
i buy mack dawg's movies every year, they are hands down the illest filming/riding/soundtracks. this will be no different i'm sure. rad-i-cal
 
junior boys are not unknown at all. and i agree with what bhill had to say up there to an extent because it is frustrating, but once a song is used in a big trailer, it is going to get out.
 
hahaha someone whos been kicked off this site is telling me to leave..funny shit. seriosuly u think ur some good filmmmaker and shit. i'm calling u out. i'll make a trialer with footage from this season which is shit because i lived 3 hours away from the kids i ski with and had noone to film with the entire season and u make a trailer with ur footage. we'll have the people of ns vote on which trailer they like better. if ur so great i'm sure u have amazing footy and since ur also such a dope skier u should have no problem with this. we'll start now, post ur trailer in a week..i'll post mine.

everyone might be switching over...but film is still film...aka the illest shit out there and not all digi. dont get me wrong, im drolling over that hd shit...its sooo sick. but film has the authentic aura...its old school and sick as fuck still.
 
So...You really don't care about the musicians at all, you just care about having a new song for your video that no one has heard. That is incredibly selfish. Unless the band is already extremely wealthy and wants to maintain a low profile, which is highly doubtful, they want their music to get out.

The trailer did not do much for me. The shots were cool, but I like big mountains and natural terrain, not rails and man made jumps.

you know since freeride snowboarding has been around longer, and has progressed over a longer amount of time, doesnt that mean there films would as well? Ski films are progressing, there are so many snowboard film companies anymore that good ones stick and and there are alot because of the number of companies. but you never see the ones that suck because of it.

With a limited number in skiing it doesnt leave as much room for error. As the industry grows it will progress. Just give it some time.

And I think I watched over 200 snowboard teasers this year, on snowboard mag's site. The major snowboard companies kill skiing. The semi-major snowboard films are comprobable to skiings best.

One example. Go watch Afterbang. Travis Parker was buttering >> flip/spins off cliffs years ago. We're just thinking that's the hotness(Pollard you are still a god.)
