kirkwood if your a natural/powder kinda guy... squaw if you a park, pipe kinda guy. kirkwood gets the most powder year round in the US... need i say more.

troublemaker1 you need to do your research. kirkwood does not get the most powder in the country. mt. baker holder of the world record for snowfall: 1141 inches in one season, has averaged 741 inches in the last 5 years. kirkwood does not get more snow than that.

believe it or not, squaw actually has more terrain than its pipe and park . . . you may have seen it in a hundred or so movies

close call, for me being a local, squaw is cheaper, and has more to offer, but can get packed with gapers. i grew up skiing alpine more often than squaw, but i think, at this moment, squaw gets my vote

Im just an Alpine kid though so thats where I go. Its my home mountain, I like it, I go there most of the time. But when I wanna go to another sick mountain, I only go to Squaw.

Squaw has terrain that will kill you. It's that simple. If you can get yourself into it, you can ski some of the most technical lines in the north america at squaw, and most of it is just a ten minute traverse from any chair.

lenzner- local students in tahoe get $10 tickets at alpine, and at squaw, they're only $5, wich is quite suprising, considering squaw likes to fully take advantage of everyones money.

Squaw has so much to offer there are so many BC lines and cliffs...oh man you can hit some of the best lines and park in North America on the same day. I ski there for 5$ since I look under 12 at age 15 so its dank....alpipes park its kinda sketchy the jumps are small, the rails are sticky ass hell, the pip is short I have never skied a better pipe than the superpipe at squaw....just imagine the best possible pipe you can think of and u have Squaws pipe 18 foot walls and perfectly cut every day
